Head over to WS (reserve your spot first) and make some of Grace’s favorite cupcake recipes! In this class you’ll learn about basic cupcake recipes and types of frostings, and practice decorating techniques like piping and writing with frosting. Suitable for ages 8–13. Call your local Williams-Sonoma store to sign up. Class size is limited to 12 students.

Grab your kids (because if you grab anyone else’s kids – well – just don’t) and come on down for a funny, family friendly comedy show. There’s a full grown up menu and also a super cool kids menu (feed ’em for $5!). The resident host and emcee, Michael Rayner, has performed his comedy juggling show at all over the world. His television appearances include: The Late Show with David Letterman, 30 Seconds to Fame, The Extreme Gong Show and The Gong Show with Dave Attell, Attack of the Show, numerous Nickelodeon shows and Sesame Street. His Bananas one-hour comedy special is currently airing in syndication nationwide.

The Fair began in 1875, when the main focus was horse racing. I’d guess, because there were lots of betting folks around town and someone thought it was a way to bring in some cash. The tradition continues with the 140th Ventura County Fair, “A Country Fair with Ocean Air”, except now they’re selling fried stuff and offering great music and rides!
Children 5 years of age and under and Super Seniors (100 years of age and older) are admitted free.

Gilbert makes Atwater village proud with his own unique blend of Folk and Bluegrass influences rocking a tambourine at his foot, a guitar in his arms and a harmonica around his neck.
