Brighten up your holidays with an all new yuletide tradition, as parts of the L.A. Zoo are transformed with highly original animal-themed LED light displays and decorations for the winter holiday season. This event was brand new last year and is such a hit they’re bringing it back, bigger and better than before.

And reindeer! You can romp with the reindeer who have flown in for the holidays, bringing the jolly one himself along. (Check the schedule to see when Santa will be visiting the Zoo.)

Free Kids Workshops “Build a School House Bank” @ Home Depot

Home Depot offers a free monthly workshop for kids ages 5 – 12. The workshops teach basic DIY skills and tool safety. Kids go home with their craft and a free Kids Workshop apron, commemorative pin, and certificate of achievement.
