I’ve heard people complain that solar arrays and wind farms are unattractive, that they’re a type of visual pollution. While I agree that I’d rather see fields of flowers or open vistas, what’s the alternative? Would you rather more oil refineries? And the ulitmate question, which would you rather have a mile from your home? Once installed solar and wind are nearly pollution free, not so with a refinery.
