This is the “Game of Kings” and it’s live. Leave the iPad at home, put away the PS4 or XBox, this is real life. That’s for the players. For you it’s relaxing on a blanket with a picnic and watching horses thunder up and down a field right before your eyes.
Learn a little bit about polo, watch a match and then hike the park or tour Will Rogers old house (he was a huge horse and polo fan). That doesn’t mean he liked huge horses, but just liked them in general.
Matches are free and open to the public all summer. Look for them most Saturdays from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
